Abstract

Digital wellbeing tools increasingly help people record mood, behaviour, and reflections, yet often reduce these rich qualitative records to scores, streaks, or simplified charts. We present MEanings, an early-stage colour-pictorial dashboard that visualises multimodal wellbeing data while preserving personal meaning. Informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), MEanings organises input across body, thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and represents patterns through user-defined colour palettes, body pictograms, and calendar-based summaries. Rather than relying on fixed colour-emotion mappings, people define colours according to their own emotional associations. We outline the design rationale, prototype, and planned evaluation of support for holistic reflection and pattern recognition.
